Defensive Pistol & Concealed Carry Instructor

Wayne is a retired FBI Agent and NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. He is also the club’s safety instructor who provides firearms and range safety training to new members and oversees shooting activities at the rifle and pistol ranges. As a former FBI firearms instructor and NRA certified pistol instructor he provides one-on-one and group handgun instruction. Whether you are a novice or an experienced shooter, Wayne provides professional, experience-based training tailored to your individual needs.

During his career with the FBI as a Special Agent, Wayne served as a Principal Firearms Instructor, Primary Tactical Instructor, Police Training Coordinator, SWAT team member and FBI Pilot.  As a Police Instructor he provided training to agents at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, other law enforcement officers across the country and police officers at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Budapest, Hungary. He now draws upon his 30 years of law enforcement training and experience to provide real-world instruction in Basic and Advanced Pistol, Concealed Carry and Personal Protection.

Wayne’s goal is to provide high quality, professional training to those who desire the knowledge, skills and attitude required to use a firearm safely and effectively for recreational shooting, personal protection and qualification for the Virginia Concealed Carry Permit.
